Our Black Drawing Salve is based on a traditional Appalachian foothills recipe for drawing out toxins, insect bites, splinters, boils, some infections, wart and foreign object removal like glass shards, as well as acne and blackheads, and can be applied to poison ivy and poison oak affected areas. We start Black Drawing with an herbal infusion of organic Comfrey and Plantain in Olive oil, then blend in healing Aloe extract, Bentonite Clay, and black Activated Charcoal before finishing with a potent blend of plant extracts and essential oils of Tea Tree and Lavender. We always focus on medicinal strength, so a little goes a long way. Please see warnings below.‡

Note: Our black salve does NOT contain the corrosive and dangerous zinc chloride.


BLACK DRAWING
Ingredients: Comfrey* (Symphytum officinale) and Plantain* (Plantago lanceolata) infused Olive Oil, Beeswax (Album Cerba Alba), Activated Charcoal, Bentonite Clay (Aluminium phyllosilicate), Aloe Extract, with Plant Extracts and Essential Oils of Tea Tree (Melaleuca alternifolia) and Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia).

Apply to affected area. Cover area with bandage. Charcoal can stain clothes and linens. External use only.


*Warning: Do not use Black Drawing Salve on fresh open wounds as it could cover the area which might trap bacteria inside and worsen the wound. To be on the safe side, it's best to speak with your doctor or a medical professional when dealing with an open wound, a wound that has become infected, or in any serious cases. This salve is not intended to heal, cure or prevent disease.
