Nine Thieves is a medicinal salve that's effective as an immunity aid, to support immune response, cold symptoms, and other conditions, and can be worn for protection in the presence of illness. Thieves oil is an ancient blend of Clove, Lemon, Cinnamon, Eucalyptus and Rosemary, and has been known to help fend off illness.‡
Story has it that during the days of the black plague, thieves would wear this oil blend to relieve the dead of their belongings, without ever succumbing to the sickness themselves. Since we can never guarantee the effectiveness of our products due to legalities and everybody reacts differently to plant medicines. This story is purely for entertainment value and we can not confirm these details, only relay what has been passed down through the ages since that period in time.
While the original thieves oil typically consisted of four or five oils, we decided to add Tea Tree, Peppermint, Lavender, and Oregano to increase this salves effectiveness. We start our Nine Thieves Salve with a heat extraction of Clove Bud, Cinnamon Bark, Peppermint Leaves, Eucalyptus, and Lavender Flowers in organic Olive oil, and finish with all nine powerful essential oils. We always focus on medicinal strength, so a little goes a long way.
