The FolkCraft Series is a collection of hands-on herbal workshops designed for all skill levels. Rooted in folk tradition and guided by the joy of learning through making, each session offers a simple, approachable way to connect with the plants and create something useful, beautiful, and practical to take home. From teas, salves, and perfumes to seasonal remedies and other botanical creations, FolkCraft brings herbal wisdom to life through direct experience. No prior knowledge is needed—just curiosity, a willingness to work with your hands, and a love for the old skills that still have so much to offer today.
 

Ditch the Freaky Lab Lotions: Make Natural Lotion + Moisturizers
Step into the world of botanical skin care and learn how to make beautifully crafted moisturizers by hand. In this hands-on workshop, students will make and take home two nourishing preparations: one water-based natural lotion and one rich oil-based moisturizer. Along the way, we’ll talk through the real differences between natural skin care and commercial products, why so many lotions rely on harmful preservatives, synthetic ingredients, and other toxic additives, and why more people are becoming mindful of what they put on their skin. Many common beauty product ingredients have raised concerns around irritation, hormone disruption, and overall body burden, and we believe people deserve healthier, simpler options. This class offers a practical, empowering introduction to crafting wholesome moisturizers without the long list of chemicals found in store-bought formulas.

We also commit ingredients and materials for every attendee in advance and reserve the right to fairly compensate our teachers for their time and preparation. Due to the nature of our business, being that we are a small family run business who focuses on providing top quality products with a quick turnaround, we can not accept cancellations, returns or exchanges on any product in our shop. Woodland Herbal's products are small batch and are made-to-order and are often started the same day an order is received. Therefore, we can not accept cancelations, returns or refunds. We are not responsible for shipping issues with the USPS or any postal service. All international orders are at your own risk, and no refunds will be given for lost or returned packages.
