These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of WoodlandHerbal.com (the “Site”) and any purchases, classes, registrations, or other services provided by Woodland Herbal, LLC (“Woodland Herbal,” “we,” “us,” “our”). By using the Site or purchasing from us, you agree to these Terms.

We are a family of herbalists. We are not doctors, do not diagnose conditions, and do not provide medical advice. Information on this Site is for general knowledge and is not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical concerns.

Our products and statements have not been evaluated by the FDA and are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease.

Herbs can interact with medications and may not be appropriate for pregnancy, nursing, certain conditions, or allergies. Please review our Herb Warnings page (/pages/warnings) and consult your healthcare provider before use.

We are not responsible for accidents, misuse, or adverse reactions. If you are experiencing an adverse reaction, contact 911 in case of emergency or contact your doctor for further assistance.

3. ELIGIBILITY
You must be at least the age of majority in your jurisdiction to purchase from the Site. By placing an order, you represent that you are legally able to enter into this agreement.

4. ACCOUNTS
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current information and promptly update it as needed.

5. PRODUCTS, CONTENT, AND AVAILABILITY
• Natural variation: Our products are made from natural ingredients and may vary in color, aroma, and appearance from batch to batch.
• Product information: We strive for accurate product descriptions and ingredient lists; however, we do not guarantee that all descriptions, images, or other content are error-free.
• Availability: Products may be discontinued or changed without notice.

6. PRICING, TAXES, AND PAYMENT
Prices are shown on the Site and may change without notice. Applicable taxes and shipping fees are calculated at checkout. Payments are processed through Shopify and/or third-party payment processors. We do not store full payment card numbers when handled by processors.

7. ORDER ACCEPTANCE AND CANCELLATIONS
We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, limit, or modify any order for any reason, including suspected fraud, inventory issues, or policy violations. If we cancel an order after you have been charged, we will issue an appropriate refund for the canceled portion.

8. SHIPPING, DELIVERY, AND RISK OF LOSS
• Accurate address required: You are responsible for providing a correct and deliverable shipping address.
• Carrier delays: Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not responsible for delays caused by carriers or events outside our control.
• Risk of loss: Risk of loss passes to you upon carrier pickup or delivery, depending on the carrier’s terms and applicable law.
• International orders: International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, fees, and delays. You are responsible for these charges and for compliance with local laws.

9. LOCAL PICKUP
If local pickup is offered, you agree to follow pickup instructions provided at checkout or in order communications. You may be required to show order confirmation and identification.

10. RETURNS, REFUNDS, AND EXCHANGES
All sales are final. We do not accept cancellations, returns, exchanges, or refunds except where required by law.

If something is wrong with your order (for example, you received the wrong item), contact us promptly at Hello@WoodlandHerbal.com and we will review and help as appropriate.

11. CLASSES, WORKSHOPS, AND DIGITAL/EDUCATIONAL OFFERINGS
Unless explicitly stated otherwise at the time of purchase:
• Registrations, class fees, workshops, and educational/digital offerings are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-transferable.
• We may update schedules, formats, instructors, or materials as needed. If a class or event is canceled by us, the remedy (refund/credit/reschedule) will be stated in the specific offering terms or communicated to registrants.

12. SUBSCRIPTIONS / RECURRING PURCHASES (IF OFFERED)
If you enroll in a subscription or recurring purchase option, you authorize us (and our payment processor) to charge your payment method at the frequency and dates shown at checkout until the subscription is fulfilled or you cancel (if cancellation is permitted for that subscription). Subscription terms and cancellation instructions are provided at checkout and/or in your customer account portal.

13. ACCEPTABLE USE
You agree not to:
• Use the Site for unlawful purposes.
• Attempt unauthorized access to the Site, systems, or customer accounts.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Site’s security or operation.
• Post or transmit malicious code or harmful content.
We reserve the right to refuse service or terminate access for abuse, harassment, threats, or misuse.

14. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Site content (text, graphics, photos, branding, logos, product descriptions, and other materials) is owned by or licensed to Woodland Herbal and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

15. USER CONTENT (REVIEWS, COMMENTS, SUBMISSIONS)
If you submit reviews, comments, images, or other content, you grant Woodland Herbal a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, translate, and display that content for business purposes (such as marketing and customer education), unless prohibited by law. You represent that you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not violate any law or third-party rights.

16. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

17. PLATFORM NOTICE (SHOPIFY)
Our store is hosted on Shopify. Shopify processes personal information when you visit and make purchases, and your information may be shared with Shopify and other vendors (some located in other countries) to provide the Services and, where enabled, Shopify Enhanced Services that may incorporate data from interactions with our store, other merchants, and Shopify.

18. DISCLAIMERS
THE SITE, PRODUCTS, AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, EXCEPT WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

19. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WOODLAND HERBAL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR PURCHASE/USE OF PRODUCTS OR SERVICES.

TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WOODLAND HERBAL’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE PRODUCT(S) OR SERVICE(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

20. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Woodland Herbal and its owners, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms or misuse of the Site or Services.

Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy (posted on the Site). Please review it to understand how we collect and use personal information.

22. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

23. GOVERNING LAW; VENUE
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, any dispute will be brought in a state or federal court located in Ohio, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue there.

24. SEVERABILITY; ENTIRE AGREEMENT
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect. These Terms, together with any policies posted on the Site (including our Privacy Policy, Disclosure, Herb Warnings, and any terms shown at checkout), constitute the entire agreement between you and Woodland Herbal regarding the Services.
