The
FolkCraft Series is a collection of hands-on herbal workshops designed for all skill levels. Rooted in folk tradition and guided by the joy of learning through making, each session offers a simple, approachable way to connect with the plants and create something useful, beautiful, and practical to take home. From teas, salves, and perfumes to seasonal remedies and other botanical creations, FolkCraft brings herbal wisdom to life through direct experience. No prior knowledge is needed—just curiosity, a willingness to work with your hands, and a love for the old skills that still have so much to offer today.
Spring Renewal: Tonics, Detox, and Seed Exchange.
As winter gives way to spring, we awaken with the green world. Stroll blossoming gardens with us as we meet spring’s first allies—dandelion, nettle, plantain, and burdock. We will forage for nature’s detoxifying herbs and students will create their own Springtime Tonic that helps with cleansing the body, flushing out built-up toxins, and aids in weight loss. We’ll talk through the actions of the plants you choose, how to craft and use your own renewal tonic at home—then we turn everyone loose to swap seeds and spark garden plans for the season ahead. At our annual Spring Seed Exchange, herbalists and gardeners come together to share & swap seeds from their herb, flower and veggie gardens. All materials provided.
