Universal Relief Liniment is a powerful topical remedy containing a potent blend of medicinal herbs, spices, and resins, which was inspired by a 7th generation grandfather, Dr. J.R. Miller, who devoted his life to extracts and liniments meant to help ailments from croup, to pain, to cholera. This old-fashioned topical formula aids pain, inflammation, swelling, and bruising from an acute injury and flare-ups from old ailments. Simultaneously warming and cooling, it quickly eases pain from sore muscles, sprains, strains, breaks, dislocations, arthritis, lumbago, gout, varicose veins, sciatica, joint pain, and muscle spasms.‡

The combination of herbs and spices encourages increased blood flow to sore spots and acts as a counterirritant to bring relief to stubborn aches and pains. Works very quick and can be reapplied when needed or combined with our Relief Rub salve for extended pain management. Ideally, since liniments work so fast and tend to relieve discomforts very fast, and therefore do not last longer than a few minutes, it's best to apply the liniment and then wait one minute and cover the affected area in Relief Rub for long lasting effect.‡

Our historic throwback Liniment is handcrafted in small bathes using the highest quality ingredients. We always focus on medicinal strength, so a little goes a long way. For external use only, keep out of reach of children, and consult with your doctor before use if pregnant or nursing. Do not apply near eyes, nose, ears, sensitive areas, open wounds, or broken skin.‡


Ingredients: Herbal Extraction of Organic Comfrey Leaf (Symphytum officinale), Organic Comfrey Root (Symphytum officinale), Organic Peppermint (Mentha piperita L.), Organic Willow (Salix alba), Arnica (Arnica montana), Organic Wood Betony (Pedicularis canadensis), Organic Wormwood (Artemisia absinthium), Organic Ginger (Zingiber officinale), Organic Clove (Syzygium aromaticum), Cayenne (Capsicum annuum), Organic Peppercorn (Piper nigrum), Organic Turmeric (Curcuma longa), Camphor (Cinnamomum camphora), Menthol in Isopropyl.

As a liniment, application works best when massaged into the problem area using a cotton ball or fingertips. Also, can be applied by soaking a square of gauze in the liniment and wrapping or taping to the painful area, allowing continual penetration of the remedy. Be warned, this liniment contains capsaicin from hot cayenne peppers, be sure to wash hands thoroughly after handling. External use only. Avoid eyes, mouth, sensitive areas and broken skin.
