Flow & Foundation: Digestion, Elimination & Urinary Wellness
Digestion and elimination shape far more than comfort. They influence energy, nutrient absorption, inflammation, fluid balance, and the body’s ability to clear waste well. In this class, we explore the gastrointestinal and urinary systems with practical attention to bloating, gas, heartburn, constipation, IBS patterns, water retention, urinary irritation, kidney support, and grounded weight management. We’ll look at food habits, bitters, carminatives, probiotics, demulcents, diuretics, and simple protocol ideas, so students learn not just which plants to reach for, but how to better understand the body’s flow, signals, and deeper foundations of balance.

About the Green Path Academy:
Imagine a world where nature handed you what you needed, when you needed it. No cost to you. No trip to the store. Did you know the “weeds” around you had value to your health and could feed and nourish you and your family? What if we told you right out your back door are plants that can do all this and more? What if these plants were your pharmacy, grocery store, beauty parlor, spa, and pain clinic? What if when you looked at your garden, you saw friends instead of weeds that need pulled, you knew them by name, and you understood their value?
This imagined world is our family’s reality, and Green Path Academy is our way of reaching a hand behind us to the next person on the path. Held at the beautiful Clary Gardens botanical sanctuary, our classes are warm, hands-on, practical, and deeply rooted in the living art of herbalism. You will learn how to grow, gather, prepare, taste, formulate, and work with herbs in everyday life, not from a cold seminar at a podium, but in the spirit of a roundtable, where beginners, plant lovers, gardeners, homemakers, healers, and lifelong learners can sit together, ask questions, make remedies, and remember a more grounded way of caring for themselves and their families. Our Green Path Certificate Track is a 20-class practical herbalism course designed to guide students from seed to harvest to remedy-making and everyday herbal care.
