Step into a living classroom set among gardens and woodland paths, where elders and artisans share time-honored skills, many of which helped our grandparents thrive. Spend the day learning by doing—watching live demonstrations, joining hands-on mini-workshops, asking questions, and browsing a maker’s market filled with useful, beautiful goods.
It is a celebration of heritage knowledge, practical craftwork, and community learning—rooted in nature and designed for all ages.
Purchasing your tickets ahead of time helps us plan for supplies, space, teachers, food, volunteers, and the overall flow of the day. Ticket prices increase as the Gathering approaches, with our lowest introductory rates available during Early Bird sales.

Bring a valid government ID for the purchaser; presale tickets are nontransferable.

After verification, each attendee will receive a wristband for same-day reentry.

The Gathering will be held rain or shine.

Cash is useful—some vendors/teachers may not accept cards.

Many activities are drop-in. Occasional short queues may form, and teachers may adjust timing or content as needed.

Many teachers welcome Pay-by-the-Heart contributions for their time, instruction, and materials. Give what you can. Thank you for supporting them.

Re-entry permitted with same-day wristband.

No pets are permitted. Service animals are welcome.

Built upon respect, kindness, and shared curiosity, this is a peaceful, politics-free, drug-free gathering where all are welcome to learn with open hearts and considerate minds. Attendee-carried weapons are not permitted. Authorized tools used by participating teachers for demonstrations and instruction are handled under their supervision.
