Our Purple Haze Tea is our most potent sleep sedative tea, made up of a proprietary blend of rare organic flowers, herbs, and roots that taste amazing while packing quite a punch. These medicinal herbs are known for their ability to inspire sleep, enhance deep restorative sleep, and balance healthy sleep patterns, while calming anxiety and reducing the negative effect stress can have on REM sleep. Included in this tea are a few powerful dream plants like exotic Blue Lotus, Mexican Dream Herb (Calea Zacatechichi), Mugwort, and Sun Opener, which some people report using for the ability to work through repressed memories.‡
This soothing and hypnotic tea blend turns a natural purple color and is delicious as a hot or cold beverage. The palate is made up of a floral blend of French Lavender, Violet, and Blue Lotus, with an earthy spice attributed to the Mexican Dream herb and Valerian. Purple Haze consists of beautiful Blue Lotus and Butterfly Pea flowers, French Lavender, Violet leaf, freeze-dried organic Blueberries, and rare Kenyan Purple tea, then we blend in with sedative herbs like California Poppy, Mugwort and Valerian root, before finishing with lucid dream plants like Sun Opener and Mexican Dream herb.‡Our medicinal loose leaf tea blends are effective for a range of medicinal uses, and they all taste amazing. Size: Sampler tin holds 0.4oz (12 grams) or 10-15 tea cups, and Large tin holds 1.3oz (37 grams) or 30-45 tea cups, XL 2.6oz (74 grams) or 60-90 cups of tea
Take 1-2 TSP of loose leaf tea and place into a strainer ball or an empty tea bag and steep in boiling hot water, stirring often (typically 5-15 minutes until color of hot water changes and aroma of tea fills the room). Tea can taste bitter if steeped too long. 10-15 minute max steeping time, due to the Mexican Dream Herb. Add honey and sugar to taste. If you're dehydrated, your dreaming and dream memory recall will be affected. Natural purple color will darken the longer it steeps, but please note that color can vary depending how much Butterfly Pea flower you put in each cup. Another awesome way to enjoy Purple Haze is to let it steep longer, like 20-30 minutes, and with sugar and honey added for taste, stir in 1-2 tbsp of milk and then chill the tea in the refrigerator; so delicious and an amazing light blue-purple color!
